HOW IT WORKS
The KU-3 Viscometer operates by measuring the resistance of a spindle rotating in the sample fluid, held in standard paint industry cans. The spindle's resistance is converted into a reading in Krebs units, grams, and centipoise, allowing for accurate and repeatable measurements. The instrument’s lever offers two positions:
- Up: Spindle stationary, drive motor off
- Down: Spindle rotating, sample being measured
A HOLD switch is available to lock in the test results, which can then be compared across the different measurement units.
